A timeless vessel designed for burning smudges like sage and copal. Handmade by Oaxacan artisans. Made from natural local clays in Santa Maria Atzompa, Oaxaca, a region that is known for its black clay.
The earthy, pewter tone is achieved by the technique in which the pieces are fired, what’s known as burning the clay. Finished with a light interior glaze, while the exterior remains unglazed to highlight the natural colors and textures of the clay.
Measure approx. 4" tall x 4" in diameter.
