Be a part of our local small business featuring ethically made goods, emerging designers and sustainable brands. Lovecraft is a neighborhood shop that fosters a warm and friendly shopping environment. We are looking for a kind and energetic Sales Associate to join our tight-knit team.

The ideal candidate will contribute to our creative and inviting shop experience by providing excellent customer service, maintaining the merchandising and cleanliness standards of the store, receiving and replenishing inventory, and assisting with website inventory management.

Sales Associate Job Description

• • • Outgoing, creative and friendly. Enjoys interacting with customers and assisting with styling and sharing product knowledge.
    • Trustworthy and dependable. Able to open and close the shop independently if needed. Familiar with POS systems and cash handling. 
    • Has an interest in fashion with a love for independent designers and familiarity with our brands and ethos. Is excited to share that knowledge with customers in an inspiring way. Ability to discern customers’ needs and recommend relevant fit and styles that translate into sales.
    • Is a self-starter, brings a positive and energetic attitude to our team. Reliable and organized with strong attention to detail and follow through.
    • Ability to multi-task and work in a dynamic, small business environment. Able wear many hats during the day and work quickly while maintaining shop appearance and meeting customer’s needs.
    • Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills, strong assessment and decision-making skills. Is able to problem solve and offer thoughtful solutions quickly.
    • Experience or interest in photography, social media or Shopify a plus.
    • Ability to work 2 to 3 days a week. Has weekend availability.
    • Experience in a specialized retail environment preferred.
